CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP SPECIALIST

We are currently are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and innovative CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP SPECIALIST. This position will be based in our Valencia. The specific requirements for the position are as follows:

 

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

· Acts as a single point of contact to assigned capable customers.  Has full accountability for orders from initial receipt to delivery.

· Establishes and maintains a professional relationship with account contacts, sales managers and brokers to facilitate optimal communication and customer satisfaction. Travels to accounts at least once a year to reinforce relationships and discuss performance.

· Analyzes orders for accuracy in regards to pricing, due dates and promotion parameters. Identifies and resolves order exceptions.

· Maximizes and sustains order “Fill Rate” to meet customer expectations for assigned accounts by collaborating with appropriate departments to ensure accurate forecasting and product availability.

· Collaborates with distribution and carriers to identify most cost effective and appropriate mode of transportation to achieve customer “On Time” expectations.

· Integrates customer expectations/measurements with internal goals to create “Performance Report Cards” on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis. Provides analysis of performance exceptions to customer and account team.

· Produces additional customer specific reports as required.

· Analyzes customer inventory levels and POS data to ensure inventory alignment, i.e. overstocks and out of stocks. Communicates discrepancies to appropriate departments.

· Utilizes account knowledge and works with appropriate internal and external contacts on planogram changes and inventory dating to prevent or minimize returns. Initiates return authorizations when determined valid.

· Develops and maintains up to date customer profiles by utilizing customer guides and on-line resources to ensure alignment with current customer expectations pertaining to order fulfillment and routing, preventing vendor compliance violations and charge backs.

· Initiates process improvements to maximize efficiencies.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

  Requires high school diploma or equivalent.

Certification:

None

Experience:

Requires two to five years experience in customer service and/or logistics preferably in a consumer products company. Experience in both is preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Requires:

· A working knowledge of customer service and/or logistics issues preferably in a consumer products company

· The ability to prioritize workload and handle multiple tasks while working efficiently under high pressure situations

· Excellent communication skills to interface with both internal and external customers.

· Strong organizational and follow-up skills 

· Basic math competency, particularly working with percentages
