Chef - Executive Suites

Olympia Entertainment is a premier sports and entertainment company that operates Detroit’s Fox Theatre, Joe Louis Arena, Cobo Arena, Hockeytown Café, and The City Theatre.  We also book events at other various Detroit area venues. 

 

Olympia Entertainment is owned by Michael and Marian Ilitch who own the international pizza chain, Little Caesars Pizza.  Over the years, the success of their pizza chain allowed the Ilitches to become proud owners of the Detroit Red Wings who won the 1997, 1998 and 2002 Stanley Cup Champion under their ownership.  The Ilitches also purchased Detroit’s fabulous Fox Theatre.  In 1992, Mike Ilitch also fulfilled his lifelong dream of owning the Detroit Tigers (MLB).

Olympia Entertainment, which operates Joe Louis and Cobo Arena, is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Chef.  Responsibilities include managing the daily operations of the Suites’ kitchen and staff to ensure high quality food satisfaction and superior service to all of our guests, controlling food and labor cost, creating menus/monthly specials and complying with all standards.  The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years experience in high volume food preparation, successful management experience and have a sustained record of effective cost controlling.
