To learn more, visit us at www.ksandt.com A Contract Analyst manages, coordinates, and processes the documentation associated with finalizing trading agreements while working closely with traders and other business professionals within the Koch Supply & Trading organization. Candidates for the job should be self-motivated, possess strong critical thinking skills, and have a demonstrable ability to solve problems. Ideal candidates will have a passion for precision and accuracy, an enthusiasm for scrutinizing and evaluating legal documents, and paralegal or contract experience. The candidate should also be proactive, team-oriented, and possess good interpersonal communication skills. Candidates can expect to work with a wide range of individuals from various industries and cultures, both within and outside of the KS&T organization. The Contract Analyst is also responsible for: Research and follow-through on a variety of contract issues Facilitating and cooperating with a variety of business professionals from departments such as Legal, Operations, Credit, and Accounting Interacting and communicating with traders, other contract analysts, and counterparties, both local and international, in a professional and friendly manner Managing multiple projects and responsibilities in a fast-paced, team atmosphere Fully complying with KS&T contract administration standards Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field or equivalent Paralegal work experience. Detail-oriented individual with superior reading comprehension skills and a dedication to accuracy and thoroughness Excellent interpersonal communication skills Willingness to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic trading environment Preferred Familiarity with and capability in the field of legal interpretation Previous experience involving significant responsibility and self-direction or involving the drafting and negotiation of contracts is beneficial Familiarity with contracts and contract language Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and other business software tools Working knowledge of commodity trading and trading fundamentals Compensation/Benefits Competitive wages and benefits packages commensurate with experience.
