Skin Health AdvisorWe have a FULL-TIME opening in our Saratoga store for a Skin Health Advisor (cosmetics specialist). This new skin health department features product lines by Vichy, La Roche-Posay, Dermablend, Lierac and Avene. The advisor will have full responsibility for ensuring the success of these lines in the store. Each vendor offers training and on going support. Longs Drugs offers a great work environment, competitive pay plus benefits & a very generous employee discount. As an Advisor in our Skin Care Center you will:§ Assist customers with complimentary skincare consultations and a comprehensive product selection. § Use a skin care analysis device to assess customers skin care needs and design a personalized regimen§ Use product knowledge and selection to provide exceptional service to customers and build your sales § Build lasting relationships with customers by contacting them to follow up on purchases, suggest new merchandise, and remind them of upcoming events § Perform merchandising tasks, such as stock, re-merchandising, display, price markdowns, and transfers § Effectively manage vendor relationships; maximize vendor appointments, and vendor support§ Coordinate a branded event calendar to rotate brand support on a monthly basis  Qualifications: The successful candidate will have 1-2 years of retail experience with a focus on cosmetics or skin care. Plus:§ Driven to deliver superior service by exceeding customer expectations § Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with customers and co-workers § Able to work well as a team player in a fast-paced, energetic environment § Strong organizational and follow-up skills § Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills § Presents a professional image which inspires confidence in the customer to purchase skin care products Apply online at www.longs.com, follow the company info then careers link and apply to the "Cosmetics/Skin Health Advisor - Saratoga" job posting or drop by the store at 12940 Saratoga-Sunnyvale Rd to apply in person.
