Large Consumer Brand Company is relocating to the area and building a brand new facility.

They are currently seeking Cost Accounting Professionals at all levels. This company offers a wide variety of excellent benefits, pension plan, 401K, bonus and much more. They are looking for candidates with Consumer Goods or Manufacturing industry experience with a min. of 2+ years of Cost and/or inventory accounting knowledge. Below are some of their current openings.

 

Sr. Cost Center Analyst

· Reconciling Perpetual Inventory to the general Ledger. This includes reconciling system feeds between instances of SAP.

· Prepare necessary journal entries for inventory activity. This includes in-transit accruals.

· Preparing intercompany billing including reconciling intercompany balances with all foreign affiliates.

· Prepare monthly inventory reports including Inventory Turns and Branded Inventory.

· Reconcile Inventory located at Sub-Contractors and 3rd party warehouses. This included coordinating the annual physical count.

· Responsible for analyzing all freight charges for the manufacturing site.



 

Staff and Sr. Cost AccountantsAccounting for cost of raw material purchases and usages in multiple systems.  Ensure that these systems are consistent and any discrepancies are investigated and resolved timely. Performing weekly reconciliation of raw material and finished goods inventory records with the physical inventory on the floor. Perform analysis and reporting of yield losses on a period basis, work closely with the Contract Manufacturing Operations team and the Co-packers to understand drivers, be part of the solution to minimize risks to the business. Perform physical inventory of raw materials and finished goods at co-packer and warehouse facilities. Oversee that the PepsiCo standard inventory control processes are being followed. Process payments to suppliers and co-packers and resolves issues related to inventory, payments, and other disputes. Works closely with integration team to ensure a seamless conversion to SAP.
