Credit Analyst
A Consumer Products Company located in Middlesex County, New Jersey has an opportunity for a Credit Analyst who will handle the following responsibilities:
- Communicate with Sales and customers regarding collection of invoices and other credit related issues
- Initiate and execute procedures within pre-set guidelines for assigned area
- Develop follow-up procedures and initiating collection activity and customer contact
- Maintain current account files
- Prepare reports and accumulating accounts receivable data
- Perform special projects and other related duties are required
- Collection calls and ensuring the collection of receivables
- Maintain and monitor customer credit limits and request D&B, JTB and trade references credit reports for all new accounts
- Post daily cash applications Accounts Receivables and Non Accounts Receivables receipts
- Maintain and reconcile Accounts Receivables
We are searching for candidates that meet the following requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of collections experience is required
- Knowledge of SAP a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work successfully with all levels in the organization and in a fast paced environment
The total compensation range is from $44,000 to $49,000 with great benefits (medical, dental), and a 401k plan with match.
