Contribute to the success of Avon! We are looking for an adaptable, self-motivated, passionate, creative team player to join our Rye, New York office as a Deployment Analyst.

 

The Deployment Analyst is responsible for the review, modification, and execution of allocation and shipment of finished goods to all internal customers to provide a just-in-time inventory environment, while maintaining 99.5% customer service levels at the lowest possible cost.

 

This position works closely with Avon’s Branches (distribution centers) to ensure stock availability and maintain Customer Service by supplying inventory directly from Avon Manufacturing, Outside Vendors and balancing branch inventory levels.  Will communicate and work directly with the Logistics team to help maintain transportation costs and with Production Planners to help maintain overall inventory targets.

 

This person should have an understanding of Manugistics Supply Planning or similar Supply Planning package and can demonstrate the ability to quickly understand software applications.  This person must be a driven individual with experience in process and technological design. This person must possess strong analytical, technical and communication skills as well as be an excellent team player. 

 

Requirements 

 B.S. in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field0-4 years minimum of Supply Chain Operations Experience in the areas of Inventory Control, Deployment, or Planning (will consider internship or co-op experience)Knowledge of Manugistics or similar Supply Chain applicationsAPICS certification a plus
