Director, Collection Management

 

SUMMARY:  The Director, Collection Management (DCM) is responsible for managing and mentoring the Collection Analysts (CA), ensuring timely and accurate task set up to improve collection efficiency, reduce cost and eliminate re-work. In addition to managing the Collection Management team, the (DCM) is responsible for leading transformation in data collection quality, efficiency and timeliness in addition to subject matter expertise relating to collection/field capabilities, IIP and CIP investigation on behalf of field and capacity analysis. The DCM manages 4-6 direct reports and reports to the SVP, US Field Operations.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Provide Field Support and Performance Improvement Provide Budget analysis, exception reporting and action recommendationsProvide analysis, exception reporting and action recommendations on other Field outputs i.e payroll compliance, task completion, etc.Lead the Standardized Collection Rate process, provide feedback on field performance and head the weekly collection rate validation processFacilitate effective Field participation and input as needed, liaison between Field and Corp.  Assist in creation and communication of outbound policies, practices, and communications to the FieldManage the Field Capacity model and reportingReview QC results and identify Field collection or process improvement opportunities, lead the weekly Field Quality Council callProvide Field Subject Matter ExpertiseServe as the Field/Collection Management expert for “exception” projects handling as well as risk mitigation process Participate in other meetings requiring Field representation/contributionProduce monthly ISG metrics and participate in a cross-IRI metrics review meeting Participate in or lead Key Initiatives on behalf of the FieldParticipate in testing of new systems, equipment and procedures involving the FieldInteract with the Sales & Consulting as well as Pre-Sales Support groups to enable the “Getting the Order Right process” to match Field collection capabilities with client needs and expectations as well as to provide in-store time estimates for pricing purposesCoordinate and participate in client meetings requiring Field representation, facilitate client and internal IRI store-walksLead the Collection Management Dept to ensure timely and accurate task set up to improve collection efficiency, reduce cost and eliminate re-workManage production and utilization of mid-collection quality reports to improve raw data qualityFacilitate close interaction between the Collection Analysts and Client Project Managers to ensure alignment between client needs (deliverable) and specs of Field collectionPerformance management of direct reports and career path planning to elevate roles

· Proven ability to develop strong working relationships & credibility with clients/co-workers

· Ability to ascertain client business issues AND link company products and services to those issues

· Strong leadership and operational experience

· Must possess a strong sense of urgency and a high drive for results

· Solid presentation skills; written and verbal communication skills

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred; 7 years of relevant experience in operations and management.
