Director, Online Marketing///Cosmetics, Beauty Industry
Global Cosmetics, Skin Care, Fragrance manufacturer is seeking a Director, Online Marketing, for a "hip", "edgy", savvy, lifestyle Brand. The Marketing Program Director is responsible for developing online initiatives to create buzz, drive traffic and generate sales for the Brand Cosmetics online.
Responsible for the development and execution of marketing and promotional strategy to support the Brand Cosmetics Online and their online retail partners; macys.com, nordstrom.com and bloomingdales.com
Key strategic focus includes: Email segmentation.
Event based sweepstakes/win components.
Designer collaborations
Seasonal programs, i.e. Halloween, bridal.
Social networking/viral marketing programs.
Live chat events.
Retailer content/merchandising programs.
Global communications initiatives, i.e. New Orleans prom program.
Consistently follows the offline brand strategy to develop marketing and promotional programs for online.
Meet with key stakeholders and leads the initial brainstorming and creative development meetings, helping to identify overall goals and messages to meet the project needs.
Communicates design goals and messages to creative participants, ensuring integration of design requirements into all phases of production.
Keeps pace with emerging online trends to increase effectiveness of marketing and promotional programs.
Synthesize and apply analytical findings to marketing programs/site enhancements.
Liaise with CRM for multichannel efforts, email segmentation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Position requires 8+years marketing, with at least 4 years online experience (cosmetics, consumer good required).
Highly knowledgeable understanding in online environment and consumer behavior.
Experience developing integrated online marketing, promotional and branding campaigns.
Strong analytical experience evaluating marketing programs and campaigns.
Solid understanding of email marketing including execution process flow, segmentation and analysis.
