The Strategy Practice is responsible for driving direction and innovation of strategic initiatives across multiple client engagements and verticals. The primary function of the Director is to lead strategy consulting engagements and to serve as a catalyst for account management teams in delivering strategic planning and insight to clients within a designated vertical. The Director will serve as a key player in developing and mentoring staff in our strategic process and deliverables. As Director, you will also be a key contributor on business development efforts, including pitches and proposal development.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Serve as the key thought leader in developing and leading the strategic approach to new and existing accounts. Play a key role in new client acquisition and new business pitches; expand the business by identifying new opportunities and establishing relationships with prospective clients. Position yourself as a key client advisor by establishing and maintaining substantial and influential relationships with key client stakeholders. serve as a leader in the development and direction of the internal strategy organization.  Contribute to formal frameworks and methodologies, staff development and foster an environment that will encourage strategic innovation. Serve as an industry leader through demonstrated innovation and expertise.   

Qualifications:10+ years of business experience in Management Consulting, Marketing, Advertising or Interactive/Technology Consulting In-depth marketing expertise in Pharmaceuticals and/or Healthcare REQUIRED; additional experience in other categories a plus (Financial Services, Retail, etc.) In-depth knowledge of integrated marketing and CRM disciplines (including primary research, customer segmentation, targeting, direct marketing, customer care) Degree in marketing, statistics, mathematics, or economics: MBA or advanced degree a plus Proven leadership ability with strong client relationship skills Experience managing and coordinating multiple strategy projects across internal teams and client relationships Demonstrated ability in application of market positioning tools (SWOT, Parthenon) Solid understanding of key trends in marketing analytics, marketing measurement approaches and changes over time Ability to prepare and present clear and concise client-ready presentations  and write documents effectively for executive level audiences Possession of excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills Must be willing to travel up to 40 percent imc² is an equal opportunity employer that encourages and fosters diversity in the workplace.
