Director of Marketing

Charisma Brands provides an exciting and challenging opportunity for an innovative, creative, highly talented individual driven to win as Director of Marketing for a consumer products company.



The person we are seeking will “hit the ground running” and help us accomplish the following in 2008: Assessment/recommendations on staffing and marketing discipline in our current efforts and activities. Assessment/evaluation of existing Charisma brands and development of marketing plans to support defined repositioning launch. Collaboration with sales on launch of new brand – crossing over into gift distribution channel. Create and oversee a leading edge, innovative online presence for Charisma Brands with results being greater awareness, higher sales, more customers and social networking.

Attributes/Qualifications:
Consumer Products industry experience BA/BS minimum education – business, marketing, communications focus 5-7 years experience Small to mid size company experience ($25M – $50M) Experience/key activities: Ability to build recognizable brand Successful brand launch Passion/interest in consumer products that create a “feel good” experience for customers Development of creative, innovative marketing ideas utilizing traditional and new media avenues within a limited marketing budget Development of co-branding, sponsorships, and affiliate programs that raise consumer awareness Analysis of consumer trends Post-promotion analysis Website management and analysis of marketing trends related to internet marketing Hands on, direct experience in identified marketing expertise
