Every location offers an environment that values each of its employees! Job Description: Control the assembling and loading of customer orders in a timely and accurate manner. Work closely and coordinate the efforts of Production and Quality departments, as well as outside warehouses, to ensure all orders are filled promptly, completely, and accurately. Assist in the control of the storage and handling of all finished goods. Control inbound receiving and outbound frozen movement at our dock (orders). Direct traffic (finished goods movement and dry materials) and confirm all documentation at the dock. Participate in the ongoing creation and maintenance of a healthy work environment by embracing and implementing safety focus and accountability. Drive continuous improvement in supply chain reliability in order to meet business financial commitments by improving supply chain flexibility. Maintain order fill rate of 99%+. Participate in team oriented full circle process in which the supply chain group operates, including: ordering of ingredients, scheduling of production, inventory control, management of warehousing and shipping. Help with the development and maintenance of 98% reliable inventory control system. Provide pre-stage line set up information to line supply. Maintain program for cycle counting materials to help achieve 98% accuracy of our inventory. Confirm inventory of raw and packaging materials on a daily basis. Confirm inventory of frozen goods on a daily basis. Order materials from outside dry warehouse for daily usage. Confirm daily deliveries of dry materials to our location and outside warehouse. Maintain inventory and movement of white pallets and Chep. Lead and supervise dock workers and line supply employees. Maintain AIB compliance at the dock, shipping, receiving and warehousing. Assist in controlling of labor costs within the department, schedule temps to need. Monitor overtime hours. Conduct Monthly Safety Inspections, tool box talks, and safety observations. Administer written and driving forklift tests. Make adjustments to inventory to correct data entry and production reporting errors. Maintain sanitation standards in the warehouse. Coordinate with maintenance and purchasing for repair equipment or to make improvements. Make inventory adjustments when information needs to be updated or corrected Enforce company policies and the CBA and docment those not in compliance Other duties/projects as assigned.Job Qualifications: Mimimum 3 years warehouse supervision or equivalent experience. APICS Certification a plus. Working experience with MRP helpful. Must have worked as a certified fork lift driver. Ability to become certified forklift trainer. Experience in food manufacturing industry a plus. High School or GED equivalent required. Business or related college degree preferred.
