E-Commerce Manager

Position Summary

This position manages the eCommerce department for TaylorMade – adidas Golf, primarily focused on generating sales, margin, and marketing plans for existing and future eCommerce sites. The eCommerce Manager creates sales forecasts and marketing campaigns while overseeing the technology platform necessary to accomplish eCommerce goals.  This position reports to the Director of Business Development for the US region, but works closely with several different departments (including IT, operations, customer service, credit, finance, and sales).

 

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

 

Coordination of eCommerce operations

· Business owner of B2X commerce technology platform, which includes B2B, shop.adidasgolf.com, shop.taylormadegolf.com, tmagconnection.com, tmagcompanystore.com, and giftcard.tmag.biz sites.

· Analyzes opportunities and makes recommendations on future eCommerce initiatives and enhancements. 

· Works closely with IT department on the creation of new sites and enhancements to existing commerce platforms.

· Develops marketing strategy for eCommerce sites and works with brand marketing functions and/or outside agencies.

· Manages online merchandising and catalog strategy across all sites.

· Assures fulfillment of orders through coordination with customer service, operations, and outside vendors.

· Manages eCommerce team - sets goals and schedules periodic reviews of performance.

 

Financial Responsibility

· Manages all aspects of eCommerce operating expense budgets (marketing working budget and overheads budget).

· Develops annual sales and margin budgets and revises forecasts on a monthly basis.

· Responsible for all aspects of management reporting associated with eCommerce business.

· Conducts periodic reviews of all controls related to eCommerce functions to ensure compliance.

· Implements and manages Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure levels of sales growth, marketing effectiveness, website design optimization, and other key metrics.

 

Education, Training, Professional Certification and Work ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field required.  Masters degree preferred.Must have a minimum of five years of experience in Internet sales & marketing.

· Must have an excellent understanding of consumer and trade marketing and sales concepts.

· Must have an advanced understanding of operations and order fulfillment.
