 ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

LOCATION:
This position is based out of our Corporate Headquarters located near the L.A.X. Airport and will require reporting in to this location on a daily basis.  It is currently available and we are looking to hire immediately. 

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Some designs and prepares new or modified installations per current electrical code including modification or drawing new prints or schematics.  In addition, the incumbent must display a positive company oriented attitude and visibly support his line management through action and deeds.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Troubleshoot, assemble material and equipment to repair all Merle Norman production and building equipment in a timely, cost effective manner.

- Design as necessary new electrical installations to insure correct power requirements, to minimize costs and conform work is done per NEC electric code.

- Bend and install conduit, repair wiring and switch apparatus/control equipment and provide access for future maintenance and avoid unreliable wiring and avoidable hazards.

- Modify all in plant production machinery to comply with current OSHA and NEC.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants MUST reside in the local Southern California area (no relocation assistance provided, no out of state applicants will be considered).

 

IDEAL CANDIDATE (PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED):

Prefer 8-10 years as an industrial/commercial electrician.

2 yrs. trade school or 4 yr. Apprenticeship with over 5 yrs. as working electrician.

Must have current Calif. Driver’s license.

Current C-10 Calif. Contractor’s license is a plus.
