ENGINEERING / MAINTENANCE MANAGER

 

WinCup, a manufacturer of foam and plastic disposable food service products, is currently seeking an Engineering/Maintenance Manager for its West Chicago facility.The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred) and ten years of experience in a manufacturing environment.  Strong utility and environmental experience is required; boiler experience is a plus.  We are looking for a candidate with demonstrated leadership skills, project management skills and excellent verbal and written communications skills.  Must be able to multi-task effectively and be willing to work in a hands-on team environment.

 

This position will be responsible for:

· Managing the operation and maintenance of our facility and utilities in a safe and efficient manner for maximum optimization while complying with Federal, State, and Municipal codes.

· Planning, controlling, and administering daily safety standards, maintenance schedules, cost, quality standards, employee relations, and staffing requirements consistent with company policies, plans, and directives while adhering to budgets and capital expenditures.

· Developing, recommending, and implementing facility improvements and expansion.

· Ensuring the timeliness, accuracy, and availability of all federal, state, and local permits

· Planning, directing, and supervising maintenance work, equipment installations, PM’s, and repairs while ensuring that schedules, quality standards, and costs are met.

· Supervising maintenance and janitorial personnel in a non-union work environment.
