We currently have an opening for a Facilities Manager.

 

The purpose of this role is to ensure we develop a solid foundation to deliver on our commitment to drive successful execution of 'People First' as it relates to the work environment in our Dannon HQ facility.  A key element toward successfully driving 'engagement', [improving and enhancing how our associates think, act and feel] is to ensure our associates have a secure, comfortable, environmentally sustainable and enjoyable work setting to progressively accelerate on our strategy of becoming a Compelling Place to Work.

 

Responsibilities

·  Manages outsourced Mail Room and Office services which includes reception, mail and parcel services, product delivery and maintenance of office supplies such as water, coffee, yogurt etc.

·  Provide supervision to the outside vendor for the reception area to ensure effective telephone and mail communications both internally and externally to maintain professional image.

·  Supervises and coordinates overall administrative activities for the Office Services Department.

·  Supervises the maintenance and alteration of office areas and equipment as well as layout, arrangement and housekeeping of office facilities. Oversees the coordination and maintenance of building space allocation and layout and facility expansion

·  Negotiates the purchase of office supplies and furniture, office equipment, etc. for the entire staff in accordance with company purchasing policies and budgetary restrictions.

·  Supervises the maintenance of office equipment, including copier, fax machine, etc. and work with 3rd party vendors.

·  Responsible for coordination with the building management and other 3rd party vendors for day-to-day operations (such as recycling, changing light bulbs, climate control, water issues and general repairs in the department, cubicle inquiries, etc.)

·  Participates as needed in special departmental projects and initiatives such as Great Place to work, sustainability initiatives etc.

·  Develops and supervises programs for the maximum utilization of services and equipment

·  Develop, plan and administer annual budgets and schedule facility modifications, including cost estimates, inspects construction and installation progress.

·  Responsible for supervision of Conference rooms maintenance including telecommunication functionality.

·  Supervise the outside vendor for Cleaning and Maintenance of Facility

·  Develops procedures, policies and guidelines for office and facilities management such us security, inventory management etc.

 

Qualifications

(A) Minimum

·  5-10 years of experience Facilities and Office Management

·  Excellent interpersonal skills

·  Customer Service and vendor management experience

·  Project Management skills

·  Excellent time management and prioritization
