Facilities Specialist

This position supports the Facility Operations Group in developing, maintaining and administering timely, quality and professional capital projects, facility management and consulting support services. Coordinate, manage and administer minor capital construction projects and report progress to the Regional Manager of Facilities. Assist in the selection of design consultants, construction vendors, furniture, fixtures, maintenance and relocation contracts. Manage correspondence, project documentation, contracts, change orders, project budgets and schedules as they relate to the development and construction of capital improvements. Administer Facility Condition Assessment Program. Summarize and make recommendations to Manager of Facilities for long & short - term improvements based on assessment findings and budget preparation. Administer and manage roofing assessments, reporting, budgeting and construction/restoration projects, maintenance & repair issues, and preventative maintenance program across the Region of responsibility. Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Building Construction, Interior Design or Architecture required. Entry level to three years experience or no degree and three to five years applicable experience required.
