Facility CoordinatorFacility Coordinator Chicago, IL 60601 Koch Carbon, LLC is a world leader in the trading, marketing and terminalling of petroleum coke, coal, salt, slag, cement, clinker, ocean freight, and other related commodities. As part of this trading business, these companies employ a network of large bulk terminals in the United States - the Great Lakes, California and Texas - as well as in Venezuela. The Facility Coordinator will be willing to dedicate the time and energy (likely 2 to 3 years) to develop basic management knowledge and skills of facility operations.This knowledge would be gained through understanding and implementation of the facilities key drivers regarding: Compliance, Effeciency, Reliability, Capital and Employee Development. The role will require the individual to be actively involved with field operations to gain knowledge to promote change in facilities operational efficiency, preventative maintenance programs, proactive maintenance programs, capital project development, facility compliance programs (Safety, Environment, Security), logistics of traffic schedules among vessels trains and trucks, inventory Management and facility operation budgets.- Computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, Project, etc.) - Independent Thinker - Strong leadership skills - Have excellent written and verbal communication skills - Mechanically minded - Can apply people skills successfully - Ability to organize tasks effectively Mechanical Engineering Degree, Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent Compensation/Benefits Competitive wages and benefits packages commensurate with experience.
