Field Service Technician--Mexico and Latin America region

 

Leading Packaging Machinery manufacturer based in the Pacific Northwest seeks experienced Regional Field Service Engineer / Technician for the Latin America Region including Mexico (Home Based).


The company offers an outstanding benefits package and compensation plan which includes time and a half for all work performed at customer sites. This is a brand new position created as a result of growth. Extremely low turnover within the customer service department b/c of the fair policies and wages of this company.


This individual will serve as a key company liason for installations and service in one of the busiest territories which includes Latin America and Mexico.
Provide service and troubleshooting support on company machinery in the field. Assist with new machine installations.
Provide training of customer operation and maintenance personnel. Emphasis on the safe operation of the products is to be a key facet of the training.
Provide customer service through phone service.
Provide follow-up documentation in a timely manner including: daily and sign out reports, expenses, and payroll information.
Demonstrate increased levels of competence with company products as measured by increased levels of certification on the products.
Other duties as assigned by the Field Service Group
Anticipated field time over a six-month period is 70% - 80%.
Holiday and weekend work is routine for the Field Service Representative.



Requirements
A 2-year Technical Degree from an accredited school, or equivalent electrical & controls Field Service work experience in the corrugated industry. Experience in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment FLUENCY IN SPANISH
