FULFILLMENT/SUPPLY CHAIN COORDINATOR



FOCUS/OBJECTIVE:
Coordinate and troubleshoot variable/complex order fulfillment processes. Demonstrates a strong understanding of complete fulfillment chain.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and coordinate detailed production schedules in a lean environment, to achieve the plant’s business and continuous improvement goals.
• Ensure production schedules balance and integrate priorities from a wide variety of areas and optimize inventory levels.
• Understand work center/value stream capacity and constraint
• Communicate status of production and production issues to production and management.
• Coordinate procurement of material to match production demands; communicate with suppliers our production requirements and forecast.
• Maintain and improve replenishment models using Excel or other tools. Ability to update and maintain complex macro’s or rules within replenishment model.
• Maintain relationship with suppliers
• Communicate inventory status/ issues to production and management.
• Investigate and report on backorder reasons
• Monitors and controls finished goods deadstock and obsolete inventory
• Communicate/present value stream/process maps
• Implements and supports visually-managed/vendor-managed component inventory programs of internal and external components.
• Coordinate material and equipment to obtain maximum efficiencies.
• Provide troubleshooting and problem resolution support for order fulfillment processes.
• Provides assistance, training, or mentors less experienced employees.
• Actively participates in kaizen events.
• Coordinate physical inventory/cycle counting
• Organize, set up and document meetings
• Perform back-up duties as needed/requested.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and an additional 3 – 5 years education or equivalent on-the-job training. Associates’ Degree in Business Administration, Manufacturing Technology, or Information Technology with an emphasis in Materials Management, Operations Management, or Inventory Control preferred.
• Requires evidence of at least 40 hours of undergraduate, technical college, ACU classes or other formal training in computer applications, business, purchasing, or inventory management. Requires successful completion of the Lean Manufacturing (Lego) ACU class.
• Requires past experience in placing orders with suppliers or providing customer service in verbal and written communications. Must be able to provide past examples of clear, concise and professional written communication used in a business setting.
• Requires demonstrated ability to create and revise Microsoft Excel spreadsheets including functions such as Sums, VLookups, SumIfs, etc. Must be able to demonstrate ability to create an Excel macro.
• Requires ability to create and modify more complex Business Objects reports including formulas and formats.
• Requires demonstrated ability to create and revise Microsoft Word documents including formal business letters.
• Requires solid decision-making skills to analyze, prioritize, and anticipate issues. Requires ability to perform mathematical analyses and make recommendations based on data.
• Requires ability to effectively communicate and develop good interpersonal relationships with co-workers, team members, and others.
• Requires ability to spend up to 80% of the work day walking or standing on the production floor. Ability to lift 10 lbs. is required; ability to lift 50 lbs. is preferred.
