Graphic/Product Designer

Company Bio:  Forever Collectibles is a leading marketer and manufacturer of collectibles, novelty and promotional products servicing the sports and entertainment industries.  Located in Edison NJ, the company’s product line includes both plush and poly resin products, such as bobblehead dolls and plush bears.  Forever Collectibles holds licenses with all the major professional sports leagues, as well as collegiate teams, and has recently added licenses with WWE and Marvel.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

Candidate will be responsible for designing products in all aspects including:

            •Initial Sketch

            •Computer illustration

            •Detailing of the artwork

            •Working directly with the factories VIA email to make sure the product is

            priced out, sampled, and manufactured in a timely fashion.

            •Some travel to Asia is required.

 

Job Requirements

 

• Entry Level (0-2 years experience)

• Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design or a related field.

• Fluent with Mac OS X platform

• Working knowledge of the most updated software

  (Illustrator, Photoshop, Quark Xpress, Indesign, Acrobat, Microsoft Office 2004

• Experience with page layout a plus

• Experience creating graphics for product packaging

• Freehand illustration skills a plus

• Excellent organizational skills

• Ability to multi-task effectively with attention on detail

• Ability to meet tight deadlines

• Ability to communicate effectively with sales force and management
