Graphics Manager - Gifts/Food/Packaging to 80K+Bonus

O'Hare area major food/gift packaging/manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Creative Graphics Manager to manage all graphic designers and artists to meet the needs of product designers.  This person will MANAGE up to 11+  people (Sr. Graphic Designers, Graphic Designers, Artists, Sr. Artists and Freelance Artists).  Will be responsible for deadlines, creative output and making sure the expectations meet the visions.  Will participate in all product line brain storm sessions, triage the product lines, participate in formulating the vision of product lines, execute artistic vision of product lines (facilitate with team to make sure vision is met). During peak 10% of job will be hands-on development of graphics and illustrations (Photoshop and Illustrator).  Will set uniform departmental processes and procedures.  Create tools tomanage worklflow, assign jobs and monitor progress.  Will recruit new hieres, retain freelance work, commission artwork, manage resources to the budget, critique lines with team when design completed.  Identify what worked and what did not and understand how to overcome in the future.  Will also conduct annual performance reviews.  Will do short and long-term planning for resource needs.  Responsible for managing the artwork process/flow.  Email resumes to Grace at creativegifts@hotmail.com or call 630-761-8660 for immediate interview.  Fax resumes also to 630-879-6390.

Requirements


2+ years as Supervisor responsible for training, writing reviews, development for Graphic Design department.

3-5 years of experience consumer packaged goods experience.  NO RELOCATIONS PLEASE - must live in the Chicagoland area.
