Title:      GROUP BUSINESS DIRECTOR – Sales & Operations

Reports to: SVP Customer Management

Locations: Opportunities could reside in East Coast, NJ, PA or elsewhere

 

Our client is a leading outsource services manufacturer of consumer packaged goods with more than 20 factories in North America and growing rapidly. We seek a professional and experienced Group Business Director, reporting directly to the SVP Customer Management. This position will be responsible for the profitability, relationship health, contractual content and execution for a customer or “set” of customers. Will lead the customer team, identify new service opportunities and fosters organic volume or revenue growth with existing major market branded customers.

 

Position ResponsibilitiesMaintain strong strategic and tactical relationships with appropriate customer contacts. Foster customer category evolution.Interpret events at the customer to our business, including competitive activity, strategic plans, acquisitions, people movement. Provide competitive intelligence through information gleaned from industry contactsMonitor units sold versus forecast for customer set, identify disparity and begin corrective actionMonitor Profitability by SKU, or Product Group by Customer. Take corrective action to maintain marginsProvide input into customer contract contentPrepare and distribute contract summaries to appropriate sites and departmentsQualifies new quotation opportunitiesLead, and mentor the customer teamIdentifies new areas of revenue either through new services or organic volume growth

 

Education/RequirementsBachelors’ Degree (preferably in a related Chemistry, Engineering, Business, Finance)Travel is required up to 60% of time including visiting customer sites and time in office with customer team
