HR Manager

We are currently recruiting for an HR Manager to join our team and manage HR for our growing company. In this key role, you will provide human resource generalist leadership, services and support to all employees. You will participate in the design and implementation of human resource policies, programs, and practices for all aspects of the employee life cycle. Responsibilities also include the administration and implementation of: Compensation and Benefits, Employment, Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action, Training, Safety and Health and Recruitment.  You will also be responsible for managing local payrolls.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  Ensures assigned client group is in compliance with HR policies, procedures, and reporting. Manages interviewing, hiring, termination, promotion, performance management process, compensation planning, training, organizational design and employee relations activity for assigned client group. Acts in partnership with leadership and corporate counsel to troubleshoot and investigate employee relations concerns; advises client leadership on appropriate course of action to satisfactorily resolve each situation and avoid repeat issues. Proactively develops programs to positively affect morale and retention.

 

Qualified candidates should have;

  Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resource Management, or related discipline. 4+ years directly related generalist experience, or equivalent combination of training and experience. Exposure to all areas of HR required. Experience working with employment law and other government compliance regulations is required for this position Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Proven ability to provide functional leadership and guidance. Must have experience working in a demanding, high performance work environment and team-oriented culture. PHR, SPHR preferred.
