Human Resources Generalist
Position Summary
Provides functional support in various areas of Human Resources including but not limited to staffing and recruitment, coworker/labor relations, job evaluation, wage and salary administration, personnel records, benefits administration, training and development, EEO/AAP, and other duties as assigned. Must have working knowledge of applicable Federal and State Employment Laws and Regulations related to Human Resources.Position Responsibilities
1. Assists in the development and implementation of Human Resources policies and procedures and their dissemination through a variety of communication mediums and methods.
2. Provides day to day leadership and organizational supports in the areas of recruitment & staffing, coworker orientation and on-boarding, coworker relations, and relevant training and development for the coworker base.
3. Assists other department members with a variety of project-related activities in all key functional areas.
4. Under immediate supervision, follows established procedures to perform tasks that are fairly routine in nature, requiring some evaluation, originality, and/or ingenuity.
5. Maintains all necessary records and files for reporting and audit purposes. Maintains confidentiality of all information.
Required Experience
1. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or area.
2. 3-5 years of Human Resources experience with a minimum 2+ years experience in a similar capacity.
3. PHR preferred.
4. Working knowledge of applicable Federal and State Employment Laws and Regulations related to Human Resources.
5. Experience in a fast paced, matrix environment.
6. Proven application of technology tools to support HR work including but not limited to proficiency in all Microsoft Applications, HRIS Applications, and Timekeeping Systems.

Reports to: Direct to Pure Fishing Human Resources; Indirect to the Director, North American Distribution
