IT Manager - SAP FI/CO/HR

Purpose of Position:

The person in this position oversees the day-to-day activities of the SAP FI/CO/HR team and directs project activity.  Candidates should be experts in FI/CO functionality and be willing to do hands on configuration work as well as perform administrative duties for a staff of 1 to 3.

 

Responsibilities:

The IT Manager will

·  Create and manage the team organization and coach team members

·  Provide periodic performance reviews to all team members

·  Ensure that all helpdesk cases in assigned queues are handled according to helpdesk process policies

·  Establish a team of business leaders to collect, review, and assign priorities to enhancement requests.

·  Assign enhancement requests and helpdesk cases to team personnel and manage progress

·  Manage medium to large IT projects as assigned by the Director of Application Services

·  Perform analysis of system and business issues as directed by the Director of Application Services

·  Analyze business processes and recommend business process improvements

·  Serve as an ITBM (IT Business Manager) for selected functional groups as assigned by the Director of Application Services

·  Be an expert in the SAP functionality associated with their team’s functional area

·  Perform configuration work within their area of expertise and participate in the team’s on-call rotation schedule

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s of Information Technology or in a related functional area such as Accounting or Finance, though an MBA is preferred.  They must have experience in project leadership with a proven track record of success.  Five to seven years of hands on configuration experience is expected.
