Industrial Electrician

Coastal Supply Company is in need of a highly experienced industrial maintenance electrician to ensure the proper distribution of power and operation of machinery.

Coastal Supply is the Mid Atlantic’s leading manufacturer of bagged lawn and garden products.  We provide a stable work environment with excellent benefits.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting / maintaining / repairing of electrical controls and power circuits ranging from 208/120V to 480/277V.

 

Troubleshooting / maintaining / repairing electro-mechanical systems, pneumatic and hydraulic machine operations, electric motors, conveyors, PLC's etc.

Qualifications:

Must be able to pass electrical skills test in order to be considered

 

At least 3-5 years of industrial maintenance electrician experience within a manufacturing environment or as an electrical utility/contractor strongly preferred

 

Journeyman level certification is REQUIRED.

 

State License Preferred.

 

Proficient in troubleshooting



Able to read blueprints and to update electrical schematics and single line drawings.

 

Knowledgeable in electrical equipment installations.

 

Must be familiar with NEC codes and NFPA codes.

 

Experience with uninterruptible power systems is highly preferred.

 

Strong oral and written communication skills.

 

Able to perform supervisory tasks.

 

High School Graduate or GED

 

Must be able to lift 25 lbs. on a regular basis

 

Day and Evenings as needed. Some travel involved.
