Industrial Engineer

Job Purpose:

Manufactures products by supervising and assisting others; organizing and monitoring work flow and materials.

Deco Paper Products is a 3-shift non-union manufacturing plant of approximately 180 employees.  We have an immediate opening for a results-oriented, experienced industrial engineer.  The individual selected will learn the operations and function as a back-up supervisor on various shifts.  Project work and involvement with continuous improvement efforts in the areas of productivity, quality, safety, distribution, automation, and cost reduction will be key aspects within this position.  A strong work ethic and desire to make a positive impact, good employee relations skills and knowledge of manufacturing challenges is essential.  Good advancement potention for success individual.  Must be flexible to work any of the three shifts.  Individual should be dynamic and detail-oriented.  This is an excellent opportunity to progress into upper management.

Experience/Education requirements:

* 2+ years of industrial engineering experience, with consumer packaging
   experience preferred
* Demonstrated results in a manufacturing or distribution environment
* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management,
Manufacturing Management or related field.
* Experience in a process and continous improvement culture.
