INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE & TELEMARKETERS





Purpose & Scope:

 

The Inside Sales person will identify sales opportunities to generate new business and source items for sales order placement.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

ü       Makes outbound contacts to potential and existing customers via phone and email to qualify leads and sell products.

ü       Manages inbound sales calls and converts them into sales.

ü       Create and provide customers with price quotations in a timely manner.

ü       Processes orders.

ü       Works to develop and nurture customer relationships.

ü       Provides solid customer service to client base on-going (order updates, questions on shipments, etc….).

ü       Prepares reports, sales forecasts and projections on a regular basis.

 

 

Job Requirements:

 

Education & Training:

 

ü       Minimum Associates degree with two years solid sales experience preferred.

ü       Working knowledge of Word, Excel and Email.

 

 

Job Knowledge, Skills and Ability:

 

ü       Excellent written and oral communication skills mandatory.

ü       Excellent phone presence and active listening skills

ü       Ability to develop strong relationships with clients over the phone and email.

ü       Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions and issues from management, customers and co-workers.

ü       Excellent organizational and time management skills required.

ü       Be able to work successfully in a team environment.

 

 

TELEMARKETERS (PART TIME - 2 POSITIONS)



Purpose & Scope:

 

To assist in developing new accounts and growing business by way of contacting leads via phone and/or email and by utilizing many contact tools and lists provided by the marketing and sales department.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

ü       Initiates telephone and email contact with potential prospects.

ü       Makes follow up calls based on contacts created from:   trade shows, direct mailers, current email and purchased lists.

ü       Updates and cleans out current contact lists.

ü       Generates catalogue mailings based on interest level of customers.

 

Job Requirements:

 

Education & Training:

 

ü       H.S. Diploma required, some college coursework preferred.

ü       Familiarity with Word, Excel and Email.

ü       Previous experience in inside sales/telemarketing/cold calling preferred, but may train the right person.
