International Accounting Clerk

  International Accounting Clerk Principal Duties and Responsibilities(Management may amend or assign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time) Enter carrier and customer invoicing data into the freight forwarding (PFF) system. Proof data entry results and confirm the totals and coding of input prior to posting transactions in the Great Plains accounting system. Print, distribute and file customer invoices. Calculate brokerage and enter brokerage invoices into the receivable module of Great Plains accounting system.  Print, file, and when necessary, mail brokerage invoices. Place collection calls for select customers. Serve as backup to the Accounting Assistant for Cash Receipts posting and Disbursement Check generation. Qualifications and Key Skills:(The following are representative of the education, experience, knowledge, skills or ability required for this position)·  High School Diploma.·  Past experience working in an accounting department is preferable.·  Ability to be attentive to detail is key.·  Experience with data entry into computerized systems. ·  Basic knowledge of General Accounting Principles is helpful.  ·  Good organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.·  Ability to work independently.  RemX Financial Staffing is an Equal Opportunity Employer
