Assists in the importation flow of product to US warehouses and customers from Dole Packaged Foods production divisions and from third party international suppliersMaintains all monthly and weekly reports for all imported shipmentsHandles and reviews financial impactsWorks closely with Domestic and International Transportation ManagerReceives sailing advises from Asia and ensures proper format Receives file transmissions from Asia, uploads the file transmissions and completes the vessel/voyage files Ensures the broker has necessary documentation to complete customs clearance prior to vessel arrivalManual batching transmissions from Spain and South AfricaPrepare a warehouse report/weight certificate from the new filesConfirm customs,containers,and FDA clearanceMaintain shipment files in proper order and stores files in a safe, orderly mannerHandles all diversions and maintains log Maintains miscellaneous expense logAll other appropriate duties as assigned by International Transportation management 2+years in International Import/Export Environment.Excellent documentation and follow through skillsTeam player with good interpersonal skillsSelf-starter with a customer focusExcellent communication skillsGood computer skills would prefer some JD Edwards World (JDE) and HP legacy experience a plus Need strong EXCEL background. Internet or systems background helpful. Work with Transmission Files with Divisions Good documentation flow Can work with little supervision Maintain and simplify file and documentation procedures within the department Maintain good records and monitor on time deliveries.
