Licensing Coordinator

Fisher-Price Character Brands is located in bustling downtown Manhattan. Our offices cover two floors in the Barnes & Noble Building on 6th Avenue between 21st and 22nd Streets. This area is also known as the Chelsea District or the Toy District and is the home of the International Toy Fair. Job Responsibilities:This position will serve as a key facilitator and guide in the licensor relation's process. Position is responsible for ensuring the success of licensed product while maintaining good working relationships between Fisher-Price Brands and licensors. Critical role in ensuring that the Fisher Price standards are met for each licensed project, while meeting the contractual obligations of each partner.- Act as corporate liaison between all appropriate inter-and-intra departments and Licensors to assure the success of licensed product in all assigned business segments.- Document and maintain Licensing procedures and guidelines that will enhance the communication channels between internal Fisher-Price Brand teams and supporting departments relating to matters concerning licensed acquisitions.- Responsible for coordinating and maintaining licensed properties for Fisher-Price Brands assuring proper approvals are obtained from Licensors for all aspects of product (i.e., product concept, artwork, photo model, packaging, instructional material, production samples, collateral and point-of-purchase material, as well as promotional plans, etc.).- Responsible for coordinating property-related support materials (i.e., character profiles, storylines, property themes, media plans, television specials, promotional advertising, all printed material, in-store merchandise material and other third-party licensing activity information) and supplying these materials to Marketing Management to enhance the development of licensed product. - Identify when needs of licensor and/or Fisher-Price are at risk and work with management to resolve them in a timely manner so it does not affect the regular development cycle.- Manage AV equipment and assist with product line reviews as needed. SKILLS:- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels.- Strong analytical skills as well as creative problem solving skills.- Ability to handle a high volume of work while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. - Must possess skills necessary to successfully coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.- Ability to work with minimum supervision and under tight deadlines.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Must be a self-starter with a proactive approach to work.- Ability to formulate strong arguments to ensure objectives are met.- Knowledge of PC software including MS Office, Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.- Some travel is required.EDUCATION:' Associates degree or equivalent.' 3-5 years related work experience (experience working with licensors highly preferred).
