Logistics Value Stream Manager

Expanding, Fortune 500 Corporation has new opportunity for creative Logistics Manager to innovate and lead new supply chain planning processes.Working Manager for dynamic environment; advanced supply chain concepts. Oversee and design innovative logistical supply chain systems for scheduling, planning and control - manufactured finished good products. Will own brands, finished goods level. 40% tactical, 60% strategic. Reports: Supplier Scheduler, Buyer and Jr. level Master Production Scheduler. Balance demand and production inventory to meet customer service inventory goals, capacity, etc, including planning of sampling items. Develop 2 yr master production schedules - finished goods & component items. Raw materials, purchased parts and packaging requirements. Upgrade and train on computer systems. Responsible for all metrics to meet "Class A" requirements. Subcontracting activity. Daily analysis, forecasting, distribution planning, delivery schedules, purchase orders. Manage and coordinate planning, shipping, suppliers, packaging, artwork, expediting, follow-up. Maintain quality, EH&S. Environment fosters advancement and independent growth.   BS/BA. Minimum 5 yrs innovative manufacturing finished goods planning + 2 yrs management in materials planning, master production scheduling - 'heavy-hitter'.

  Must show ability to lead; desire to work in collaborative, teamwork environment.

  Ability to bring in, design, develop, foster ideas for innovative concepts for creative supply chain logistics processes.
