12.00 - 15.00 USD /hourOvertime available Status: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Job Category: Manufacturing/Production/Operations Relevant Work Experience: 1+ to 2 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Education Level: High School or equivalent Company: Synerfac Technical Staffing Contact: Kim Scheetz Email: Apply by Email Phone: 800-796-7322 Website: www.synerfac.com Machine Operator - Plastics Industry Location:  Central New JerseySalary:  $12.00-$15.00/hourIndustry:  Plastics Packaging Type:  Contract to Permanent Job Responsibilities:Maintain the operation of all machinery that he/she has been trained to operate.Expectations for Thermoformer / Injection Molding - Setup / Operator Maintain operation of all machinery Monitor machine operations making sure the parts being produced meet or exceed all quality standards Must be capable and willing to run one or more machines as production requirements dedicate Must be willing to do all jobs associated with keeping the Thermoformers running Trouble shoot and correct operational problems as they occur Identify and properly stamp or tag all tooling with the proper identification information Must keep the supervisors and managers informed about the need for tooling and other supplies necessary to keep the Thermoforming operation operating properly Do tooling changeovers/setups in a manner that will facilitate the rapid resumption of the production process    a. Take responsibility for the proper return to storage of tooling    removed from the machine    b. Take responsibility for the organization and storage of secondary tooling used on the Thermoformers Do minor tool/die repairs as instructed by the supervisors or managers to limit machine down time Do maintenance as necessary on the Thermoformers in a manner that will facilitate a smooth and ongoing operation and keep downtime on the Thermoformers to a minimum Job Requirements: • Experience operating and setting up thermoformers and injection molding machinery a must• High School or equivalent also relevant experience will be considered • Must be able to do basic math • Must be able to read and write English • Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing with supervisors and other operators • Must be able to understand blue prints and other Quality Control Tools • Must be able to use Micrometers and other measuring devices • Must be willing to share knowledge about the process and machinery with other operators to enhance the company’s position in the marketplace through shared knowledge
