Lutron Electronics Co. Inc., the leading manufacturer of high quality lighting systems, has an immediate need for Machinists for our 1st & 2nd shifts. In this key position you will be responsible for completing intricate prototype models and innovative tooling essential for manufacturing. You will work closely with Lutron’s engineers and designers to bring exciting new products to market.

 

Responsibilities:

· Work closely with Lutron’s engineers and designers in a vital role to innovate new products.

· Produce high quality machined prototype models for product research and development.

· Machine and build state of the art tooling to support product manufacturing.

· Machine and assemble advanced test equipment used for product calibration and reliability assurance.

· Program machined parts with the use of cam software for advanced CNC machining.

 

Qualifications: 

· Minimum of 5 years of hands on experience in the machine trade.

· Familiar with CNC programming and overall machine knowledge.

· Good communication skills and interest and ability to work successfully in a team environment.

· Tool and Die certificate not required but is a plus.
