Assists maintenance manager in overseeing repairs and maintenance of equipment. Assigns work orders, ensuring that safety-related repairs and repairs affecting production are the highest priority. Assists maintenance associates with diagnosis and repairs, when necessary. 2. Assists maintenance manager in managing the preventive maintenance program ensuring unscheduled equipment repairs are minimized, establishing preventative maintenance schedule, and ensuring that the schedule is adhered to. 3. Assists with reviewing contractor candidates. Monitors contractors adherence top quality standards and completion of work in a timely and cost effective manner. 4. Assists in hiring, training, evaluating and recommending pay increases for maintenance associates. When necessary, participates in disciplinary actions and recommends termination of employment when appropriate. 5. Manages the acquisition of additional parts and ensures that spare parts inventory is maintained so that repairs can be completed in a timely manner and production downtime is minimized. In addition, ensures that inventories are controlled to have the least investment. 6. Researches modifications and improvements to systems and make recommendations accordingly. 7. Oversees and ensures that building, grounds and equipment are cleaned. Oversees centers waste disposal program, ensuring that waste is disposed of according to the facility is maintained. 8. Interacts daily with all facility management associates to ensure maintenance needs are met and conducts tours daily to ensure that the condition of the facility is maintained.QualificationsMust have at least 2-5 years of experience in a maintenance leadership role. Hands on experience with conveyor and merge systems,able to give direction for the PM program, understanding of programable logic, diagnostic acquisition of parts and equipment, knowledge/skills in repairing HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems,analytical ability to gather and interpret data and recommended solutions, skills/knowledge in reading blueprints, strong knowledge of computers and engineering solutions and good employee relations skillsSears is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
