Manufacturing Engineer

We are searching for a manufacturing engineer to be responsible for technical activities in manufacturing that would include supporting production, process improvements, machine and equipment monitoring and procurement. This is one of our best clients and they are anxious to move on this position.

Skill Requirements:

This position requires a Bachelors degree, a strong mechanical aptitude as well as experience with maintenance of equipment and control systems. Must possess knowledge of project planning, process design and improvement. General computer proficiency and knowledge of computer aided drafting software required.

Authority:
This position is a technical resource for the manufacturing department and has the authority to set up, monitor and make adjustments to production runs. This position also has the authority to install and qualify production equipment.

Responsibilities:
Maintain GMP and ISO compliance and adhere to the Companys general procedures.
Support Production in all matters related to assembly processes and equipment.
Improve manufacturing processes for increased quality, reduced cost and improved efficiencies. This is done by performing value analysis, cost savings investigation and making recommendations to manufacturing.
Coordinate process changes with manufacturing supervision while managing proper documentation appropriate to the task.
Specify, install and qualify new equipment and create necessary documentation. Train production employees as necessary on new processes and equipment.
Manage all technical activities required to maintain validated manufacturing processes.
Participate on project teams to provide support to R&D projects for commercialization.
Participate on cost improvement teams as directed by management.
