Manufacturing Engineer (PACKAGING)

SUMMARY:
Responsible for improvement activities on packaging equipment using root case analysis techniques, TPM FI toolbox and engineering expertise to increase production efficiency, reliability, cost, quality and safety. Responsible for managing capital investment projects across factory manufacturing assets, utilities systems and infrastructure.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• At least 5 years of engineering experience preferably in high-speed manufacturing supporting packaged consumer goods industry (beverage, pharmaceuticals, food, personal care).
• Bachelors of Science in Engineering

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Performs root cause analysis to achieve improvements in production efficiency, reliability & quality.
• Supports plant project activities and manages capital projects.
• Team member for larger innovation, restructuring or supply chain strategic investments.
• Manages suppliers, engineering service providers and contractors.
• Assures compliance with Unilever & industry engineering standards, specifications, and best practices.
• Participates in the development of the plant site plan, capital plan and ensures practices that promote effective asset management.
