Manufacturing Maintenance Manager

Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing our team of skilled Machinists and Maintenance Technicians.  Our Manufacturing Maintenance Manager works closely with Production Supervision and Engineers to ensure equipment is available on demand; and adjusts the departmental priorities based on workload and business conditions.  This position also takes a lead role in identifying and implementing equipment optimization ideas throughout our manufacturing facility.

 

Experience:5 years experience in a Manufacturing environment as a Maintenance Manager/Supervisor or Lead Person Hands-on Management experience to include budget control, troubleshooting and reporting.Demonstrated strong electrical/mechanical equipment troubleshooting background. Experience managing in a Union environment helpfulAdvanced education in relevant technical field desired, but we will also consider candidates with  equivalent maintenance management experience or hands-on experience

 

Requirements: Proven ability to effectively Manage and Motivate othersExcellent communication skills, written and verbalEffective problem solving skillsAbility to be Flexible in a Fast paced Manufacturing environmentStrong PC skills; MS Excel proficiency a must
