Marketing Manager

IMUSA S.A. is a Colombian company located in Medellin which designs and manufactures cookware, kitchen gadgets, small appliances and plastic storage ware. For over 70 years the IMUSA brand has been synonymous with quality, value and tradition throughout Central, South America and the Caribbean.

 

The IMUSA brand in the USA is the # 1 Hispanic Housewares brand enjoying a 70% brand awareness nationwide. IMUSA USA, LLC is located in Doral, Florida and supports the U.S., Canada and Mexico markets where we work with distributors and directly with retailers. We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team and will work with the sales departments, advertising agencies, customers and procurement departments.

 

Qualifications:

 

Bachelor’s degree required; marketing, advertising or communications preferred

A minimum of 3years experience in consumer or brand marketing products; Housewares or related industry preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Demonstrated success in leading team projects

Experience in developing solution for business challenges

Data Analysis

Product development knowledge required

Excellent presentation skills

Ability to Travel to designated markets and factories approximately 20% travel required

Bilingual Preferred

 

Position Requirement MARKETING MANAGER:

 

We are looking for an individual who is a dynamic, creative and high achiever that can excel in product development, marketing to retail accounts and brand penetration in the U.S. market. The candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

 

· Liaison with creative departments to coordinate packaging, media, trade advertising, promotions, merchandising strategies and trade shows

· Packaging strategies and implementation

· Provide strategies based on customer requests, marketplace opportunities and product development

· Assist in the development of the brand and products; preparing for line reviews, presentations and pricing

· Using recent Quantitative and Qualitative research, develop a marketing plan to identify new markets, opportunities, product categories and trends for the U.S. Hispanic Market.

· Coordinate Trade Show Events including travel, brochures, catalogs, samples and marketing materials

· Drive timely decisions related to business issues



· Collaborate with cross functional teams from operations, sales, procurement and manufacturing on all product initiatives

· Key support for overall vision and long term business strategy for the IMUSA brand
