Position Purpose: The position is responsible for creating, selling and executing marketing programs that support business strategies for Companion Animal and Pet. Work with Region Directors and Sales team on new product introductions, advertising, trade promotions, and event marketing to support the business objectives. This position is an additional position within the Companion Animal and Pet Business group and does not replace any current roles.

 

Required (Basic) Experience & Education: Advanced degree in Marketing.

 

Required Competencies & Other Skills: Strategic thinking, strong interpersonal skills, sales/customer connectivity, coordinating internal capabilities, results oriented, mobilizing talent, market and consumer expertise, strong communication/presentation skills, creativity and problem solving skills, customer problem resolution, demonstrated budget management skills.

 

New Product Development, Brand Development, Brand Leverage & Extension, Customer Segmentation, Media Mix Selection, Promotions/Merchandising, Sales Support, Pricing

 

Preferred Experience & Education: Masters in Marketing or Business preferred. Consumer package good experience preferably in the pet nutrition industry. 5-8 years of successful marketing experience required.

 

Preferred Competencies & Other Skills: 5–8 years of package goods experience

 

Percentage of travel 20%
