Responsibilities:

 

Reports to the Director of Marketing.

 

Positions products & services to the marketplace

 

Set the direction of the brand through awareness of market research and consumer  trends

 

Track product trends, innovations and competitive activities to support future product and program development

 

Analyze marketing programs and adjust strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness

 

Maintain consistent brand image and communications for all product s and brands

 

Coordinate with other departments on marketing related activities

 

Monitor and measure product life cycle and propose recommendations

 

Stays current of all relevant consumer trends and their potential impact on the business.

 

Monitor, evaluate and proactively manage competitive brand information to maintain market advantage.

 

Successfully manages assigned P&L responsibilities.

 

Requirements:

 

Displays strong leadership skills with the ability to take charge and get things done.

 

Ability to assess risk and take appropriate actions to maximize business and financial objectives.

 

Excellent presentation skills with the ability to sell one’s ideas internally to senior management as well as the sales organization.

 

Sound analytical and financial skills.

 

Good verbal and written communication skills.

 

Computer literacy to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint Programs.

 

Bachelor’s degree  in Marketing or related degree

 

3-6 years marketing management, field sales, or marketing experience in non-durable consumer goods industry

 

Professional beauty product experience preferred
