Review the job scope with the customers on new, unusual, or critical jobs or on jobs with historical problems to develop an understanding of the customer’s real expectations.Determine and document the steps and estimate the time required to safely and in an environmental sound manner complete each ob as identified in the scope.Maintain data integrity by entering new and updating existing parts lists and equipment specific notes. Recommend warehouse stocking changes. Update equipment data in the Passport equipment file. Add existing equipment into Passport by communicating changes to the Records Department and update necessary information. Correct or add work order information (equipment #’s, action codes, cost centers, etc.) whenever conflicts or missing information is discovered. work Experience/Skills Required:5 - 10 years of experience in the field of maintenance within the process industry. A minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance planning is required. Demonstrated skills in rotating and multi-craft planning are required. Demonstrated ability to plan within a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) is necessary. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are keys to success in this role. Work Experience/Skills Preferred:Maintenance scheduling experience in the Petro-chemical industry (in addition to planning experience). Planning experience in the Maximo CMMS system. Demonstrated ability to work within MicroSoft applications such as MS Word and/or MS Excel. Education Required:High school Diploma or equivalent.Education Preferred:Professional development experience in the field of maintenance planning and scheduling.
