Microsoft VB.Net Programmer

Specific responsibilities include supporting critical software applications, report building, project participation, planning and application development using the .NET platform.

 

This .NET Developer will support management in helping to develop and implement business solutions and optimize operations, conduct impact analysis of systems, upgrades and changes to supported applications for the business units, and may oversee systems and business processes for feasibility.



 

ResponsibilitiesComplying with SDLC standards for creation and/or implementation of software in a project based environment.Complying with SOX and other auditing standards for security and accessibility.Build functional requirements, document custom code, system validation, and release management.Managing customer expectations and communication (both oral and written) Team player on all IT projects

Qualifications:

Software Developers will have experience in a variety of areas to support the business objectives:3+ year(s) web based application development 3+ year(s) experience with database development and SQL programming.3+ year(s) experience with Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 or higher with a focus on VB.Net in a windows based environment. C# or ASP.Net a plus.Strong knowledge of variety of programming languages: VB, HTML, Javascript, .NET, or ability to quickly learn and adapt. Strong knowledge of IIS, SSL, MSSQL 2000/2005General knowledge of active directory and Microsoft applications such as SharePoint and Exchange.



Education:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Science preferred. Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD) or Microsoft Certified Database Administrators (MCDBA) a plus.
