National Account Manager
We are a very well known house hold brand launching an exciting new line of products in the Consumer Electronics and IT Channel. We are seeking a National Account Manager to mange this brand.
This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join a successful and growing company. Reporting to the Director of Sales, the key responsibility of the National Account Manager will be to further our successful launch within the retail, e-commerce, reseller and distribution channels, both for existing/named accounts as well as the prospecting of new accounts.
Job Description
New Business Development, Experience in Brand Management. Drive revenue, growth, and profitability within the channels. Develop and maintain strong account relationships with buyers, marketing managers, merchandising managers, and senior executives. Negotiate promotional and marketing programs and annual contracts. Coordinate the development and implementation of sales promotions and programs. Manage Marketing Development Funds with channel partners while maximizing ROI. Manage new product introductions, forecasting, sell-through, and account logistics. Own all aspects of success within named accounts.
Required Qualifications
Must have current contacts with buyers within the channels Bachelors Degree with a minimum 5 years of successful quota carrying experience selling consumer electronics and technology products into Retail, Distribution or E-Commerce Channels or equivalent experience. Experience calling on named retail, distribution and e-commerce accounts (Mass, Clubs, CE, OSS, etc.). Must be a self-starter with a high energy level and take initiative with already established, strong network of business contacts in the industry.. Experience planning, implementing, measuring and modifying marketing and promotional programs with named accounts. Clear understanding of P&L responsibility and overall planning requirements within the channels (forecasting, quotas, annual planning, major account presentations, etc.) Ability to travel to assigned account locations as needed. Proven ability to successfully operate in a busy office environment.
