National Education Manager

1.

Acts as the key Corporate liaison to ESMs in the field regarding communication and of all new company strategies including new product, concept and company philosophy initiatives.

 

2.

Acts as the primary mentor and trainer for all ESMs in relation to personal growth and industry business skills.

 

3.

Responsible for the quality control and efficacy of all shows and education events executed by the ESMs in the field including managing the guidelines governing shows for each season.

 

4.

Responsible to turn in status report to the Director of Education on a quarterly basis reflecting the education accomplished in their respective regions by ESMs.

 

5.

Responsible to train ESMs regarding, and oversee processes to ensure a successful Advisor and DTM network.

 

6.

Analyze and manage the efficiency and effectiveness of all in field education programs using the highest benchmark for quality.

 

7.

Initiate and track all JOICO and ISO education participation in R&D projects.

 

8.

Responsible to work with the Director of Education to organize and manage all JOICO, ISO and Senscience Experience (new hire) Programs, seasonal updates and Advisor/DTM trainings for JOICO and ISO.

 

9.

Responsible to work with the divisional sales manager in each sales territory to identify strategic areas for educational growth to support sales

 

10.

Participates in and helps to organize all major regional and corporate education-sales events including but not limited to Trade shows, Sales meetings, Advisor and DTM trainings, cluster classes and shows.

 

11.

Responsible for conducting monthly conference call meetings with the ESMs to organize, motivate and problem solve.

 

12.

Responsible to collect data from the Education Activities Coordinator in regard to DTM and Advisor activities and utilize that data to help the ESMs strategically manage and grow their part time education programs.

 

 

 

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

 

·  At least five years experience in the industry working in a corporate environment, including a sales and education background, chemical application, styling and conducting presentations.

·  Exceptional in-depth knowledge of chemical and hairdressing services. 

·  Above average communication skills and people skills.

·  A solid ability to manage and mentor creative stylists.

·  Strong computer skills including Word, Power Point and Excel spreadsheets.

·  Superior writing and presentation skills.

·  Ability to design and compose superior educational literature and support pieces.

·  Excellent organizational and follow-through skills. 

·  Proven ability to train trainers.

·  Must be a self-motivator who also enjoys being part of a dynamic team.
