Responsibilities include:

Ø  Understand all equipment and software running on our servers in order to be able to answer any questions of internal users.

Ø  Maintain the network servers in order to have it available 24/7 for US and China users

Ø  Keep servers and all attached equipment updated with latest software available, such as latest virus definitions, adaware software, and 2007 Microsoft Office.

Ø  Monitor daily backups to make sure we can restore something for a user if they have any problems

Ø  Work with internal users to see if you can assist them with any goals or future needs and be available for our internal users for questions.

Ø  Keep a list of all equipment that is property of Radio Flyer Inc. by location. Review and advise what equipment needs to be updated

Ø  Learn how the Xerox, fax and phone systems are connected to the server and take over the monitoring of this equipment from CS Manager

Ø  Monitor all incoming messages and release or delete as needed so that our users have all information they need from their customer in a time fashion

Ø  Develop a plan for training a back up person on responsiblities.

Ø  Take the Lominger 360 and work with Manager to create a Personal Development Goal

 

Requirements include:

 

Ø  To pro-actively work towards Radio Flyer  being updated with the most current technology

Ø  Ability to work through problems until resolved

Ø  Provide friendly, fast and effective service to internal and external customers

Ø  Understands that things change and be a change advocate

Ø  Willing to research and learn new software and hardware

Ø  Maintain system availability 24 / 7 due to time difference between US and China offices

Ø  Degree in Computer Sciences – Bachelor

Ø  3 years job related experience

Ø  Knowledge of Cisco Equipment and Mimesweeper

Ø  Understand the importance of back up and disaster recovery

Ø  Ability to explain how something works to an end user, excellent communications skills
