 Operations and Logistics Coordinator

 

Shonfeld’s USA Inc., the hottest gift and home décor company in the United States, has an immediate opening for an Operations & Logistics Coordinator to join the Operations team. This position reports directly to the Head Operations Account Manager and COO.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

·  Coordinate shipments working with our Manufacturing Office in China and various Subcontractors.

·  Coordinate with Account Managers for global import orders from retail accounts including US and International accounts.

·  Work with China Office on IPO creation and fulfillment.

·  Coordinate and train China Office Team and Subcontractors in creating a seamless workflow between the Product Development Department, the Sales Department, the China Manufacturing Office and Subcontractors. Ensure all information is communicated to the various departments on time and is understood by all parties.

·  Posses firm understanding of Customer Manuals for each retailer and coordinate specific customer information with China office and various Subcontractors. Ensuring items such as price sticker specifications, UPC coding, QA/QC samples, quote sheets with HTS code, duty rates, shipping documents and certificates, product testing, factory audit, etc. are executed in a timely and efficient manner.

·  Assist Account Managers with any additional needs.

 

Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·  3-5 Years experience working in a operations / logistics environment

·  Must be proficient in Microsoft office such as Words, Excel, PDF, PowerPoint

·  Fluent in Chinese preferred but not required

·  Strong team player, self-motivated and focused

·  Excellent communication skills

·  Must be willing to work flexible hours including several evenings and weekends
