PLANT IMPROVEMENT PROCESS (PIP) SPECIALIST

WinCup is currently seeking a Plant Improvement Process (PIP) Specialist for our Stone Mountain, GA facility.  This position is an excellent entry level opportunity with career growth potential that will directly impact the results of a growing and dynamic company.

 

This position will be responsible for implementing process control and improvement initiatives at all WinCup foam manufacturing facilities.  The PIP Specialist will work with key manufacturing and engineering leaders to establish implementation teams; teach lean concepts; roll-out Statistical Process Control (SPC) and process improvement tools across an entire manufacturing facility as well as provide on-site support and establish long-term measures and tracking.  The PIP Specialist will also act as the SPC expert for the foam division and will work with all facilities to maintain the use and value of improvement and process control efforts.


The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferably in Industrial, Mechanical or Process Control Engineering and working knowledge of Statistical Process Control theory, lean manufacturing concepts, operations management, statistical analysis software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, Word PowerPoint). 

 

We are looking for an innovative team player with excellent problem solving skills and business acumen.  Must be able to drive change and work with limited supervision.  This position requires up to 50% travel.
