PRODUCT MANAGERS FOR LEADING CONSUMER PRODUCTS COMPANY

Manufacturer of brand-named consumer products is seeking Senior Project Managers and Product Managers who be responsible for the cradle to grave execution of New Product Development projects.  Projects may include, New Products, Line Extensions, Advance Development, Cost Reductions, Quality Improvements and Compliance to Standards.  Project scope will involved working with dedicated multi-functional teams assigned to deliver benefits to the business.   Candidate will lead cross-functional teams - Marketing, Industrial Design, Engineering, Design Assurance, Quality, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, etc. This position will leverage External Resources such as ID firms, Engineering firms, Satyam Engineering Services, Suppliers, etc that may be part of the extended team.  The position will champion and drive the Global Product Development Process (GPDS) and track, measure and review program metrics, schedule, budget and issues.  This position will facilitate the development and tracking of detailed program schedules and facilitate the writing and release of specifications for both manufactured and sourced products.  Candidate will assure program deliverables are complete and meet requirements within the timeline and will be responsible for the scheduling, delivery and presentation of GPDS Tollgate Reviews.  This position also integrates and provides information and direction to domestic and Asian teams for sourced products and the Plant team for manufactured products. Candidate will also promote communications between the core teams, extended teams and the rest of the organization.Candidate must have a BS in Engineering, Project Management with a MS desired and 5 -15 years of relevant experience.  Extensive project management skills, new product development and consumer packaged goods is required.  Proven leadership and influencing skills are required and a Program/Project Management certification a plus. Bilingual in Spanish or Mandarin is a plus. The client offers an excellent salary, bonus, benefit and relocation package.
